We welcome you to the Office of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.  We have a long and rich history of education in this part of Indiana, from the mid-19 ^th century religious sisters who established many of our schools to today, where we still have religious sisters, as well as priests, deacons and lay men and women, sharing their love and passion for education in our schools.

We are blessed with two diocesan secondary schools, 15 elementary schools—many with preschools—and two additional parish preschools in our diocese. These schools serve over 5,000 students in the very diverse communities of north central Indiana.  All of our K-12 schools are accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement through AdvancED.

Our Catholic Schools are a mission of our parishes, called to participate in the Church’s evangelizing mission to bring the gospel to the ends of the earth. We continue to strive for excellence by educating the whole child.
