Melissa Santos comes from Nebraska with a background in Catholic education. She has 30 years of experience in administration, special education, and teaching. She has a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Learning Disabilities from the University of Dayton.
Melissa and her husband, Andrew, are returning to Indiana where they raised their family. Excited to lay down roots in the community and be involved in their local parish, Melissa believes and supports Catholic education and the importance of educating the whole child, physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. She has extensive experience in the special education field, curriculum development and the professional development and mentoring of teachers and administrators. She is excited to visit schools, meet principals and work with teachers to fulfill the mission of the Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.
