Elementary Guidance Counselor St. Boniface - Part Time
Job Summary: We are seeking a faithful, energetic, and organized educator to teach students in grades 4, 5, 6 There are two homerooms of each class so the counselor would teach 6 classes. Each class is 40 minutes. Topics covered: bullying, self-image, protocol, protection, Diocese Circle of Grace, eating right, taking care of yourself and others - whatever topics are important at this age. The counselor often meets with small groups of children while they eat lunch to discuss similar matters that might be happening in their family - often separated or divorced parents or a disfunctional family.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
Possess Respect & ability to uphold Catholic School Teachings
Able to pass and maintain Diocesan child safety protocols
