Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher to join our vibrant school communities. This role offers the unique opportunity to serve two outstanding Catholic schools, share your love for music, and inspire young minds.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a dynamic music curriculum that aligns with our educational goals and Catholic values.
- Teach music classes to students in various grade levels at both St. Mary Catholic School and St. Michael Catholic School.
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages students' musical growth and creativity.
- Organize and direct school music programs, including choirs, bands, and other musical ensembles.
- Plan and lead performances for school events, liturgical celebrations, and community functions.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to integrate music education with other subjects and school activities.
- Provide individual or small group instruction to students as needed.
- Maintain and care for musical instruments and equipment.
- Encourage and support students' participation in local, regional, and national music competitions and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for music education and the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to create a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of both schools.
- Experience in directing musical performances and ensembles.
