St. Michael Catholic School is a PK-8 school dedicated to providing a Catholic, Christ-centered, academically excellent education that empowers children to know, love and serve God. The school serves a diverse student population and is seeking an enthusiastic full-time Elementary Teacher for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. St. Michael Catholic School is a part of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana and this position offers a quality insurance package and a 403(b) retirement plan.
Responsibilities include: create and implement lesson plans, utilize assessments to drive instruction, communicate with parents, exhibit classroom management skills, and ability to integrated technology in the classroom.
Requirements for the position include: respect and honor Catholic beliefs and practices, excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills, a Bachelor’s degree in education or education-related field, and possess an Indiana teaching license. Candidates with Spanish language skills preferred, but not required.
