We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana to collaborate with the Superintendent in furthering the Mission of our Catholic Schools.
The Assistant Superintendent will specifically oversee curriculum development, coordinate standardized testing in schools, facilitate the Choice Scholarship programs and additional funding opportunities, and serve as a liaison to the IDOE.
In collaboration with the Superintendent, the assistant will help in developing a plan for the faith formation of adults in our schools furthering our Catholic Identity, research and write grants for school safety and program development, create and facilitate professional learning opportunities for teachers and principals, and review data for goal setting and continuous school improvement.
Education:
An Advanced College or University Degree in Education, Education Administration, or Curriculum Development
Skills:- Strong written and oral communication skills
- General knowledge of curriculum from Kindergarten through High School/Career and College prep
- Ability to collaborate with Superintendent, Building Principals, and Teachers
