Every dollar counts when it comes to supporting students and families!

No donation is too small or too large.  Provide financial support in order to allow eligible families the freedom to choose to educate their children in our Catholic Schools.
As our mission states:

The mission of the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana is to
partner with families in providing a Christ-centered learning environment
in which all persons can grow in faith and knowledge in order
to serve God in this world and to be eternally happy in the next.
 

How are Tax Credit Scholarships funded? 

All scholarships are funded through private donations made to the participating Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs). The Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana has partnered with the Institute for Quality Education (IQE) as our SGO.

 

Who can donate? 

Anyone can support the Tax Credit Scholarship program by donating! In order to receive the 50% TAX CREDIT, however, the donor must pay or owe Indiana state taxes. Donations may come from corporations, partnerships, LLCs, PCs, and the self-employed, as well as from individual taxpayers.

The State of Indiana does have an annual limit on tax credits for these donations. Please check the Indiana Department of Revenue site to confirm that tax credits remain for the current fiscal year prior to making your donation. Become a partner to support Catholic school students!

• Donor gifts provide need-based Tax Credit Scholarships to students in our diocese, which assist families with tuition at Catholic schools in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.
• Donors may designate the gift to benefit the Diocese of Lafayette General Fund or a specified school within our diocese. Donors may not designate the gift to benefit a specified student.
• Donors receive a 50% state tax credit, as well as any eligible federal tax deductions for those who itemize deductions on federal taxes.
• Donors make contributions through our Scholarship Granting Organization: Institute for Quality Education
