Position: SIS Application and Technology Specialist The Office of Catholic Education has an opening for a full-time Student Information System (SIS) Application and Technology Specialist to support the management and operation of the diocesan student records database. The position includes providing leadership, training and support to end users in the diocese. Essential Duties: 1. Coordinate and conduct training related to the use of the student information system (SIS) 2. Communicate regularly with local school building and office staffs to keep them current on procedures and technology related to the SIS 3. Coordinate SIS application updates and provide instruction on new features/changes 4. Manage user accounts and records within the SIS 5. Maintain the security of and access to the data residing in the SIS 6. Act as the primary contact with the SIS vendor and Indiana Department of Education on data reporting elements 7. Maintain confidentiality of all records 8. Review IDOE data collection management and work with schools to ensure compliance 9. Monitor and administer user maintenance/security on all IDOE websites and provide instructional support and assistance to schools. 10.
