May 10, 2023St. Michael Catholic School in Muncie, IN is seeking a creative and dynamic Part-Time Spanish Elective Teacher for grades Preschool through 8th grade for the 2023-2024 school year.
This position includes teaching fundamentals of Spanish for Preschool through 8th Grade and instilling a love of foreign languages in children. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated learner, a team player, and demonstrates a strong desire to foster a positive, faith-filled culture in a classroom dedicated to academic excellence. Knowledge and support of the school’s mission and an understanding of the Catholic faith are also required.
Duties unique to this position include:- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and comfortable utilizing classroom technology
- Plan and implement a continuum of appropriate Spanish lessons for all students
- Foster respect for Spanish-speaking peoples and customs, especially those that reinforce Catholic teaching
