Plan and conduct daily lessons in accordance with the curriculum and state standards
Prepare weekly plans and submit them to the administrator
Evaluate and report students’ progress in accordance with local policy
Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying levels of learning among students
Maintain classroom management in accordance with school policy
Complete long-range planning to ensure all standards have been covered
Maintain up-to-date substitute folder
Keep abreast of changes in curriculum and content
Communicate with other staff members, and parents regarding all aspects of the curriculum, student performance, student behavior, etc.
Attend and participate in all faculty meetings
Attend and participate in professional development meetings, conferences, and workshops, including diocesan-scheduled events
Attend and participate in religious events, courses, and activities (e.g. Mass, prayer service)
Serve on faculty committees and teams
Be a role model for students and parents by demonstrating a Christian attitude in dealings with others
Read and comply with all policies stated in all School and Diocesan Handbooks
Safeguard confidential information as needed
Perform other essential duties as laid forth by administrative directives
